About

Greetings!

My name is Sam Artigliere. I am interested in theoretical physics, mathematics, neuroscience, computer science and literature. I am particularly fascinated by the relationship between science and religion. I hold a postgraduate degree but it involves none of the above-mentioned disciplines. Although I’m an amateur regarding these subjects, I have read fairly extensively on them. My goal for this site is to share what I’ve learned with like-minded readers as well as to learn more from input by readers.

While my major impetus for creating this website is to introduce my forthcoming novel, The Formula, my fantasy has always been to write a comprehensive textbook on physics, mathematics and neuroscience; one that explains these subjects in detail, but at a level understandable to curious nonprofessionals like myself. Although this is an insurmountable task at present because of the demands of my day job, I have taken an initial step toward this aim; I have made outlines in the Topics menu in the upper right-hand corner of this site and hope to slowly fill them in with links and original contributions, as time and interest allow.  Because I’m new to creating a website, this, in itself, will not be trivial. However, I’m enjoying the challenge and have finally gotten this thing off the ground, moving in the right direction.

I welcome constructive comments (positive and negative) on the content of this website and I hope to hear from experts on the subjects discussed on this site, especially on topics of a technical nature.

Enjoy!
